Milwaukee Game

Here are the details on a game we started on Feb 21, 2004 in Milwaukee. The game is at my place and the core participants are:

	Germany: Bill Quoss, Chicago
	Italy: Dave Schoepke, Chicago
	Japan: Ed Schoenfeld, South Milwaukee (Rules Expert)
	Western Allies/China : Maurice Buttazoni, Milwaukee (Host & Narrator)
	Russia/France: Robert Haden, Chicago

We plan on meeting one Saturday a month. This is our first Global War game and as such will be a teaching and learning game with mostly open Research and Diplomacy.

Pre-game Pictures

	I'm always intrigued with how people set up their game and components, and the rooms they game in.
	So here's my game room. It's a 13' by 13' room in my basement, the house was built in 1885 so the game room is appropriately called "The Bunker".
	Here's how the space looked before we got started, counters are pulled but minimal setup has been done.

Day One (February 21, 2004)

We finished setup and played from Fall 1939 through Summer 1940.

Fall 1939 - Initial setup in Asia.	Fall 1939 - Initial setup in Europe.	Winter 1939 - Attack on the Low Countries.
Summer 1940 - The Japanese link up their first beach head.	Summer 1940 - The German breakthrough machine in action.	Summer 1940 - At war but somewhat quiet in North Africa.

Day Two (March 20, 2004)

Well we only got 3 turns done today, Fall 1940 through Spring 1941.

Winter 1940 - The Med Front.	Winter 1940 - The East Front.	Spring 1941 - Ripping the Egyptian frontier wide open.
Spring 1941 - The Med under pressure.	Spring 1941 - Ominous rumors send the Russians back a few hexes.	Spring 1941 - The British Isles and the Atlantic. Simply Frustrating!
Spring 1941 - The British Force Pool. Amazingly Frustrating!	Spring 1941 - The Mobilization Track.	Spring 1941 - China.

Day Three (April 24, 2004)
