This was the first ever global game using the alpha version of Gathering Storm - Pacific.

The changes this year are primarily clarifications and consistency changes. There were two significant changes -- transports cannot be withdrawn from
the SW boxes and the US surrender rules have been tweaked.

Mark Yaeger has updated the Excel Research Records file that was originally put together by Eric Scheulin to
account for the various rule changes over the past 10 years or so. He has also created a version that works with GS-AWAW games.

The rules have been updated to include the
June 30th, 2015 updates. The PDF files, on-line rules, and Windows Help
file have all been updated.
The changes this year are primarly clarifications and consistency changes. There were three significant changes -- mobilizations
now are bound by date, the French Surrender Level on a voluntary surrender is no longer fixed at +1, and Spain has two capitals for purposes
of being conquered.

Gathering Storm is now available for order on the GMT P500 list!
Gathering Storm is both a game in its own right and a prequel to GMT�s A World at War.
It covers the period from 1935 to the outbreak of World War II, whenever that might be.
Like A World at War, Gathering Storm simulates the military, economic, political, diplomatic, research and production preparations for the Second World War,
allowing the players to explore alternatives to what happened historically.

The player aid booklets for the 2011 convention are now available.
It can be found with the PDF rules in the last second of files.
The file
is a zip file containing the instructions and all
of the files necessary to assemble the player aids into six booklets for playing the global
scenario. They can be used for any face-to-face game and should be used for the
games at this year's convention.
